The One

Hearing stories on how couples meet can just melt your heart and we never get tired of hearing them. Laura and Alex went on a trip together to Chicago, and after a fun filled weekend they knew they wanted to be a part of each other’s adventure. Both agreed it was hard to pin down a moment in their relationship when they realized they each loved each other, their love gradually grew stronger, and voila here we are celebrating their wedding! Both did agree that it was their trip to Chicago that made them want to be a part of each other’s lives.

“It’s hard to pin down a moment. Every day our love for each other just got stronger and stronger but I would have to say our trip Chicago. There was a point where I wasn’t feeling so good and Laura made me feel loved. I knew then that she was the one.” ~Alex

Fun Facts About the Couple

Knowing fun facts about couples can bring the pictures to life. Looking at a picture and admiring it is one thing, but knowing something about that person can bring the story to life. Laura and Alex gave us some fun facts about themselves, to help bring their story to life.

Laura (as told by Alex):
She is constantly losing her glasses around the house which has born my new favorite game – Let’s find Laura’s glasses before she can, a game at which I am undefeated in. Thank goodness for contacts on our wedding day. Laura is a fantastic dog mom, even though this is her first go around. She managed to turn my own dog against me, he is now a proud momma’s boy.

Alex (as told my Laura):
Alex LOVES legos. Part of the cake his family made for him for the rehearsal dinner had a lego figurine of a bride and groom.
He loves to make people laugh and he is really good at it! It inspires me to see the lighter side of things.

Favorite  Moment

“We have to pick just one?! I think our favorite part of the whole weekend was seeing all of our closest friends and family in one place. The dance floor was tied for first – it was where we got to celebrate and spend time with everyone who traveled near and far to see us.” ~Laura and Alex

The dance floor was definitely a highlight at the wedding not only did we capture the first dance, but we got a group photo of the whole wedding party. You can definitely tell their wedding was shared with close friends and family members that wanted to celebrate their special day. Enjoy their amazing day as you look at their wedding collage down below.

Wishing you the best Laura + Alex!
